The multi-day trail running stage race from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek brings runners from across the world and disciplines - from dedicated trail runners to urban run crews - to experience Colorado's beautiful countryside. Currently, there are entrants from at least a dozen countries.

This August the TransRockies Run, a three- or six-day trail running stage race that sees just 350 runners traverse 120 miles of mesmerizing Colorado countryside - including over the continental divide - between Buena Vista and Beaver Creek, returns for the 13th year.

The fully supported race includes tents, luggage service, mobile shower trucks and catered meals, and at the end of each stage, runners gather to recover, socialize and celebrate.

Much like Ride the Rockies, the multi-day cycling event that takes place every June, the  TransRockies Run is a vacation event that sees people return year after year, reuniting with friends made from previous editions of the event.

And from this year, the race has a new sponsor. Footwear, sports, and casual apparel manufacturer Under Armour has stepped up to become the title sponsor of the event.
